One of my friend said the store brought multigrain roti
flour was not good. Apart from wheat and rice it’s always good to add some grains
in our routine life. I use to do oats roti thought of adding other flours too turned
out good. My kids like roti, now it’s healthy too.
Ingredients:
Wheat flour
1 cup
Oats flour
2 Tbsp
Bajiri (Kambu) flour
2 Tbsp
Sorgam (Cholam)
flour
2 Tbsp
Ragi flour
2 Tbsp
Oil
2 -3 Tbsp
Water
¾ cup (approximately)
Sugar
A pinch
Salt
Directions:
- Mix all the dry ingredients together, add Luke warm water little by little and knead the flour (10 – 15 minutes) to soft dough.
- Now add oil and mix well don’t knead for longtime now.
- Let the dough rest for 1 hour. Make small balls and roll to flat circle and toast on hot tava.
Note:
You make variations by adding different flours. But maintain
the same ratio.
