Poosanikai (Ash Gourd) Dosa


Ash Gourd or poosanikai is 96% water based fruit. It’s good for weight loss and ulcer patients. And especially for women it’s so good.

Ingredients:

Dosa batter
2 cups
Ash Gourd/Poosanikai cubed
½ cup
Cashew nut
10
Garlic pods
2
Red Chili
1-2
Turmeric powder
¼ tsp
Pepper powder
½ tsp
Oil
1 tsp


 

Directions:


  • Heat oil in a pan add garlic and chili fry for a minute. Now add cashew nut, turmeric powder and poosanikai cook until it turn soft. After cooling grind it to a fine paste.
  • Mix the ground paste, pepper powder to dosa batter.


Make poosanikai dosa as you do regular dosa. Serve with any chutney or sambar.
